In the last week Outreach Neon has been moving signs, equipment and other material to a new location to do its business.
Outreach which has operating for several years in a new building it bought in the industrial park has decided to rent space and in turn the building on Spruce Avenue will be used by a local winery.
Owner Dennis Knechtel says the winery was looking for more space to store its production and he was open to moving uptown (very close to his former location on Co-op Avenue). ((corrected))
Outreach is upping the square footage to about 6000 from 4200. The business joins SO Deck and Railing and Transwest as occupiers of the “General Coach” premises.
The new owner of that building had hoped to attract a manufactured home builder to that location from Alberta but that has not happened.
