Pictured above, the Friends of the Oliver Library are sorting books for their annual book sale on Saturday, July 7th from 9-2 in the Library parking lot. Proceeds from the sale go towards the Library’s Summer Reading Program for Chiuldren.

 

But we need some additional volunteer help to lift those heavy boxes. We will be sorting this Tuesday, June 12th  from 9:00 to 12:00 where Fairview Storage has generously allowed us to store the books (on Sawmill Road just south of South Valley Sales). We’ll sort again on Tuesday, June 26th.

 

As well, on the day of the sale, we need a pickup truck (or two?) to haul books from the Storage unit to the Library on the morning of the sale. If you can help with any of this, please call Val Friesen at 250-498-3736. Many thanks!
