The Okanagan Regional Library and the Friends of the Oliver Library are co-sponsoring an evening with local author Laurie Carter at the Oliver Branch on Wednesday, June 20 at 7:30 p.m. Carter will present a slideshow based on her popular book “Grandma Wears Hiking Boots”, using humour and personal stories to highlight off-the-beaten-track sites of beauty around the Okanagan.
