Members of the Oliver Fire Dept were certified in swiftwater rescue over the past weekend in order to better protect the residents and visitors of our community. This added protection comes with a warning. Environment Canada has issued a high rainfall warning for the interior of the province. Although we are well prepared and well equipped to help anyone in need of it, we ask that you think twice about venturing into the river this spring and summer.
