The Oliver and District Heritage Society say Tracy Johnson the successful applicant for the position of Community Heritage Manager will be on the job June 15 and normal operations will resume.
The Society is now advertising for a second part time position of Collections Manager and applications will be reviewed by the new manager on her arrival in Oliver. See job postingĀ for the 4 day a week job elsewhere on ODN.
Tracy graduated in 1995 from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology. After working for five years in field archaeology in BC she transferred her professional interest to museums and subsequently worked in heritage facilities in Grand Forks, Summerland and Kelowna.
