Two matters about this car wash before Town Council on Monday:

Fortis needs permission to supply power as no pole placed in right place to supply additional electricity to the new car wash machine. Solution: cooperation between Telus and Fortis on a new pole to replace an existing one. Town permission recommended as no new pole would be needed.

Brycar Investments Ltd. ( OK Car Wash) have requested a variance permit on the side parcel line setback to recognize the newly poured building foundations. The request is that the setback be reduced from 1.0 metre to .9 metre. Staff are recommending the issurance of the permit.A 2231 sq foot automatic car wash addition is being constructed on the south side of the old “Texaco” station.
