Approved by council at meeting Monday April 23, 2012:

1. $4000 Grant in aid to Desert Sun Counselling

2. A number of bylaws to allow tickets to be issued on bylaw infractions and a new system of collection and adjudication of any disputes over same

3. Town of Oliver indemnification Bylaw 1322 – passage of this protects both employeees and members of council from legal action against their person.

4. A tree management policy that calls for increased attention on dead or dying trees and a direction to plant two for each one removed.
