This was the 17th Annual SOSS Enrichment Fund Golf Tournament hosted again by Fairview Mountain Golf Course and run by the SOSS Enrichment Fund Society, a group of alumni and community members which raises funds for scholarships and bursaries for graduating students at Southern Okanagan Secondary School. This year saw 140 players in 28 five person teams competing for 2 days in wonderful weather on a lovely golf course and raising approximately $14,000 – all for a great cause. The photo shows members of the 2 winning teams over the 2 days. Winning the “A” flight was the Wayne Ross team (Wayne Ross, Rob Zandee, Mike Johnson, Joyce Travis and Janice Smith) while the Phil Elliott team (Phil Elliott, Ken Hautamaki, Bill Postnikoff, Russell Work and Jen Seminoff) took top honours in the “B” flight.
