For each Easter Sunday service at our Oliver United Church, we begin the service by inviting the congregation to come forward and place flowers in the cross during the singing of our first hymn. It looked so wonderful this morning that I took the cross outside and shot this picture of it. With the blue, somewhat grey sky in the background, it somehow aids in portraying the feelings of Easter morning from many years ago.
