Alberto’s Decorating Centre on Main Street, opened its doors to Oliver in 1972. It’s known by locals as the “decorating centre—a place where you can find everything you need to beautify your home or business”.

In response to the growing demands of the industry, second-generation owners Tracy and Alberto Veintimilla will be making a bold move to form a larger design centre, by becoming neighbor to Underfoot Floors (also owned by the Veintimilla family).

“Placing both businesses under one roof is a natural choice for us. The newly designed facility will include designer brands such as Hunter Douglas (blinds), Pittsburgh Paints, Olympic Stains, as well as carpet, tile, hardwood and laminate flooring and a few new surprises.” says an excited Alberto.

“We’ll always be a part of the Oliver business community”, says Petra Veintimilla (President of the SO Chamber, and the third generation to be apart of this thriving business.) “Great things come from change. I like that we’ll be working more closely with the Underfoot Flooring staff—fabulous flooring compliments everything we do at Alberto’s. I know our customers will love exploring all their design options in one place, and that there’s plenty of parking too!”

With a new location, fresh inventory and a confident air about them, Alberto’s Decorating looks to make 2012 unforgettable.

The new location ay 5662 Hwy 97 (next to Underfoot Floors) will be open in May. We look forward to continuing our long history in the community and providing locals with the great selection and service they have come to expect from Alberto’s Decorating.
