On February 28, 2012 an Oliver resident called to report that at some point overnight a shed on his property located in the 9000 Block of 340th Avenue was broken into and 2 Stihl chainsaws were stolen valued approximately $ 700.

 

On March 3rd 2012 at approximately 1228hrs, an Oliver resident living in the 36000 Block of 87B Street reported that lumber was stolen from a house that was under construction.  Most of the lumber (approximately 10 2×4’s and a piece of plywood) was found strewn out along a bike path and was recovered.

 

On March 3rd, 2012 RCMP were dispatched to the Gallagher Lake campsite for a theft complaint.  On arrival the complainant stated he located a male attempting to steal gas from the campsite, the male departed the area on being challenged.  A BC licence plate and the description of both a female driver and the male passenger was provided to police.  This information resulted in the subsequent arrest of the suspects.  An investigation toward potential charges are being sought.
