Michelle Morisset of Wine Country Quilters Market (left) presents Vicky White of the Oliver Branch  of the Okanagan Regional Library with a Dr. Seuss quilt made to commemorate his book ” The Lorax”.

The book published in 1971 is being released today as a 3D movie starring Danny DeVito. This coincides with the 108th birthday of Seuss.

The library staff plan to feature the quilt during the upcoming Arts and Culture week in April and library patrons will have a chance to enter a draw to win the quilt.  Thanks to the parents, grandparents and children in the photo today.
