Italian-Canadian tenor Tony Caruso first received formal vocal training at the age of 17 at The University of Alberta, where he completed a BMus degree in music in 2006. Mr. Caruso is a recent arrival to Vancouver after having studied in Italy for 4 years. During this time he completed the “Diploma Tradizionale” program in Voice from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. Currently, Mr. Caruso is in the Masters Opera Program at UBC, where he can be seen performing with the UBC Opera Ensemble and his recent performance of Reverend Parris in Robert Ward’s ‘The Crucible’ was received with great reviews. Mr. Caruso is also an active performer in and around the Vancouver area and was one of the featured soloists with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s annual Christmas Concerts this past year.

This highly versatile pianist, based in beautiful British Columbia, with a repertoire of “Ragtime to Classics”, has had an exciting and adventurous career the past 25 years, performing at numerous international hotels and clubs, as well as entertaining on board many cruise lines sailing the high seas. Glen now resides in Vancouver, where he is kept busy performing at many local venues.
