Just got back from the 62nd Bighorn Sheep count. A small group of us, Dieter and Joyce Bunge, Dave Whalley, and myself were high up behind Vaseaux Lake. We had just climbed a steep section through deep snow when Dave asked us to stop for a while as he was out of breath. He sat on a rock and went very pale and drowsy.
We called 911 and the EHS/ BC Ambulance Paramedics and OK Falls volunteer fireman arrived. Whalley was given medical attention and then taken off the mountain.
