Each year Kiwanis organizes the Share the Spirit program which is designed to give a little Christmas cheer to some who may not otherwise have something at that time of year. We match recipients with anonymous sponsors, neither know who the other is. We gather information as to age, sex  and a wish list of what would be nice to receive.

This past year we had 36 families who received Christmas donations that included clothes, toys and dry goods. The Kiwanis Club delivered these a few days before Christmas.

While the sponsors of these wonderful deeds do not wish to be named to the recipients, the Kiwanis Club of Oliver feels that the public should know what businesses have helped to make some one’s Christmas just a little brighter. Therefore look for the Kiwanis sponsorship decals that will be showing up around the community, we feel its our way to say thank you to the sponsors.
