Here are 2 pictures of the iceboat on Vaseux lake. The skipper and crew is Guy Wilson of BC Helmet Cam Rental, he will give lessons and sell time on the ice. Guy says the ice is 8 inches thick where he tested but said it maybe thinner in other places, he just needs 4 inches for the iceboat to be safe, I prefer about 3 feet of ice to be safe. I tried walking on the ice but found it very slippy so stayed on terra firma.

While there I counted aprox 65 Trumpeter Swans over on the open water part of the lake
