Jack I’m in Guatemala and will not be home until mid February. I’m also pecking this out on my iPhone which is slow. I will be visiting five different projects in Guatemala and Honduras. Yesterday I was in two villages seeing work by a group called Fundenor who are training Mayan women in health and agriculture. The women speak only their native language. In spite of needing two translators (English to Spanish to Pokom’chi and back again) I exchanged recipes for cabbage with the women in the photo I will send you. When I told them that I did the cooking in the family I made them promise to not tell their husbands until I had left the village. In spite of the double translation I got a good laugh.
