On January 02, 2012 a business owner from the OIB Reserve reported that over the weekend he had 1.5 cords of wood worth approximately $450 stolen. The culprits appeared to have hooked a chain to the link fence and pulled with a vehicle, downing the enclosure. Approximately one hundred feet of fencing was ripped down and stretched rendering it useless causing $2000 damage. Once inside the cords of apple wood were stolen.
On January 03, 2012 a resident in the area of the 900 Block of Eastside Avenue called to report that between 1200 HRS and 1500 HRS two rocks were thrown through the back window of his Ford 350 pickup.
On January 6, 2012 a break and enter and mischief to some of the portables at the South Okanagan Secondary School was reported. RCMP attended and confirmed that a group of portables had either their screens removed or pried off. The damage and theft occurred sometime between 17:45 HRS and 20:25 HRS. One of the portables was entered through a window that was pulled open. A trolley with audio visual equipment was removed and dragged onto the grass where it was abandoned by the portable washrooms. An chair was also moved from the classroom, but later recovered down 350th Ave by officers.
