Oliver Senior Girls inaugural game in the new gym wasn’t easy, but a win none-the-less as their league record is now 2-0 .

The final score was 51-42,  against the Summerland Rockets who lead for the entire first half .   The Hornets edged ahead  in the 3rd  and 4th  quarters based on solid defense, rebounding and 3 point shooting.

Emily Jentsch finished with 15, Ashley McGinnis with four 3’s  to score 14 and Jessa Kriesel with threes 3’s  to drop 13 .  

The Hornets will go to a tournament in Pitt Meadows this weekend, that promises to be tough competition and where they will put their hard earned 11-1  record on the line.
