On December 15, 2011, at approximately 0924 hrs, Oliver RCMP responded to a single vehicle roll over on Hwy 97, near Leighton Crescent. RCMP spoke with the driver who advised he was traveling northbound on Hwy 97 when he took his truck out of four wheel drive and promptly lost control resulting in the crash.  A 79 year old male Osoyoos resident sustained a broken leg and shoulder. The 72 year old female passenger sustained a broken shoulder. Both were taken to SO General Hospital via BC Ambulance Services for further treatment of their non life threatening injuries.
