Two of Oliver’s youth were recently awarded the highest honour a Scout can achieve as part of the Scouts Canada movement, the Chief Scout Award. Samantha Ridley and Dustin Lesmeister were recently honoured at a ceremony at Camp Dunlop in Kelowna.
The Scouts are pictured here with the Scout leaders that helped them complete their three-year journey, Mike Field and Ron Casorso. The youth completed multiple environmental projects, first aid certification, leadership skills and community service hours in order to achieve this honour.
Nice to hear about youth doing great things, and 1st Oliver Scouts thought we’d pass this along.
