‘Tree of Wishes’ has been a successful initiative of Sears in your community since 1999 and annually donates approx 12 000 gifts to children and youth across Canada.  The Tree of Wishes is a tree covered with snowflakes. Each snowflake has a child’s name, age and wish gift attached to it. Customers are encouraged to help a less fortunate child by picking a snowflake and purchasing the child’s ‘wish’ gift. These ‘wish’ gifts will then be passed onto the local Boys and Girls club so the child’s wish is fulfilled.

Customers just need to come into the Sears Hometown store in Oliver and pick a snowflake. We will order the gift in the store and the customer can pay for it at that time. We will ensure once the gifts have arrived that they are passed on to the child. This makes it quick and easy for customers to grant a local wish!
