Packed house, extra chairs brought in, standing room only – all phrases to describe a wonderful community Christmas concert put on by the Oliver Arts Council Sunday afternoon.

Host Penelope Johnson was a hit with kids and adults alike as the concert progressed from choirs, story readers, bell ringers, orchestras, and other entertainers.  Thanks to Bill Phillips, Ruth Knippelberg, Lori Martine, Sue and Cliff Gay, Bob Park, Alice DeRoche, Lisa Ante, Renee Nessman, Ray Renaud and all entertainers in the Swingin’ Bronze, Desert Bronze and Oliver Handbell Ringers, Sage Valley Voices, Oliver Elementary School Choir, SOSS Band, SO Adventist Christian School Choir, and the Desert Air Men’s Chorus.
