Joining the excitement of the Christmas Light-Up will be well known photographic artist and Oliver resident, Merle Somerville.
Merle has been photographing landscapes for over 30 years. His passion for finding the perfect image, has lead him to photographing more than 100 British Columbia parks and scouting locations in the United States, Australia, Central America and the South Pacific.
Merle prints his images to canvas, which gives them a painter-like quality. His new work exemplifies the scenic splendor of the South Okanagan and are a perfect reminder for why we choose to make Oliver our home. 
Starting this weekend you can find Merle’s unique canvas artworks on display and available for purchase at Alberto’s Decorating on Main Street.
