These pictures from  “A Quilter’s Journey” held at the library last night.  There was a great turnout and everyone was truly impressed as Enid Baker kept unfolding quilts from her suitcases and taking us along on their creation.

The saying goes every picture has a story, while every quilt has several stories, including memories of the people who helped stitch them and the places where inspiration took over.  Although Enid confessed that she often wakes up in the morning with a great idea but has no idea how it crept into her mind during the night.  Her quilts are truly awesome works of art.
