South Okanagan Minor Hockey hosted the Midget Tier 3 tournament this last weekend

The first game was Friday night vs. Creston. South Okanagan Midget Reps started the weekend out with a win. 6-2 over Creston

Saturday had two games scheduled: The first was against Grand Forks. Again South Okanagan took another win. Final score was South Okanagan Midget Rep. 4 – Grand Forks 1

Saturday night’s game was against visiting U.S. team Wenatchee.South Okanagan secured their spot for the championship game with a win over Wenatchee 6-1. Winning their Pool “A” and moving onto the finals for Sunday.

The final game was against Pool “B” winner, Nelson.These two teams where familiar with each other from a previous tournament hosted by Nelson at the end of October .

Final score of the game : South Okanagan 3,  Nelson 1
