I remember reading somewhere of a house number exchange. Do you have any  info on that? There must be a lot of useless house numbers kicking around in Oliver. Ray Odland

To get Oliver on to a positive strain with regards to the new street names and numbering I have a suggestion.  Why not have a “Neighbourhood Numbering Swap” that would include everyone in Oliver to be able to exchange the number that they have to the new ones that they need. Kimberly Jones

The Town has set up the exact number swap idea you are suggesting at the Town office (across the alley in the finance office to be exact). This was described in the letter that was sent to all property owners in early October. It is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 4:00. So far since the swap opened on November 1, interest has been lukewarm, but may grow as we approach the target deadline for number changes, which is the end of December. Tom Szalay
