Tonight I drove down Tuc-el-Nuit Drive (aka 71st Street) and was absolutely blinded by a huge flood light mounted on a Westminster Rentals truck at the corner by Sunningdale Estates. It was comprised of four of the brightest lights I have ever seen shining in my eyes as I drove north. Once by it was, in an instant, pitch black dark and very difficult to see the many people walking along both sides of the road. It wasn’t bad on the return trip because it wasn’t directly in your face but I think it may have made that particularly dark street less safe because your eyes didn’t have time to adjust from the brightness to the darkness. I also noticed very few children had any reflective material on their costumes and in certain areas it was very difficult to see them. (Valley of Heaven-in comment section)
I too have some concerns about this bright light and its intended purpose. It was unsafe rather than a helper.
