Town staff and contract engineers waited patiently for the crowds but they never appeared at the Elks Hall last night in Oliver. Less than 20 people showed up in a four hour period to see drawings and concept ideas for three projects being voted on November 19th in the civic election. The referendum seeks 2.5 million dollars for improvements to 350th Avenue (Fairview Road), a sidewalk and curb up 350th from SOSS to the cemetery area and a paved hike path on the east side of the river near the bridge.
