My husband Larry and I moved to Oliver in 1989. Our 3 daughters Marnie,Donna, and Lynnet all graduated from SOSS. We have 3 grandchildren, Brianna, Joshua, and Austin. We owned 3 businesses in Oliver between 1989 and 2002, Eastside Grocery, Stedmans V/S and Ruffled Edges.

I was on Council in Oliver from 1997 to 2005. I am an active Volunteer with many Provincial, Regional and Local Organizations.

I am very proud of all that was accomplished during my last years on Council and I believe I have acquired many new ideas to bring a bit more ‘life’ into this beautiful place. My travels around the Province in the last 6 years have convinced me there are endless possibilities to make Oliver a more vibrant community without sacrificing the rural appeal or the green space.

I believe I have the skills and passion to look ahead, rethink, try again and never give up.
