The steering committee and the project team would like to emphasize that these diagrams are conceptual only, and were presented at the open house for discussion and to solicit input. They have not been approved by either the steering committee or Town of Oliver council. There will be future opportunities for citizens to review a more detailed version of these diagrams along with supporting materials. After that, it will be the responsibility of council to approve, reject or modify the final strategic plan as they see fit. If you use the diagrams for your news article, perhaps using a header such as “Conceptual Development Options Diagrams” would provide the right message to your readers.
