After a successful league season the SOSS Senior Girls and their coach Ian Gibson hosted Valley teams to determine which team from our region would be heading to Provincials.

The team won their first game placing them in the finals against Summerland.  The final game ended 0-0 and after 10 minutes of overtime was still 0-0.  The tie breaker was determined by penalty strokes in which SOSS came out on top.

The team will be heading to Burnaby next Tuesday to compete in the Provincials and proudly represent SOSS and the Town of Oliver. November 2-4 at the Burnaby Lake West Sports Complex. Keep an eye on the following website for the game schedule. It hasn’t been posted yet. www.fieldhockeybc.com/
