Consultants and politicians met Thursday with 40 people interested in seeing details of the “in progress” Oliver Airport Strategic Plan at an open forum at the Elks Hall.
Members of the Airport Advisory Commitee, consultants and local plan advisors were there to hear feedback. Once the verbal and written feedback is analyzed the ‘Plan’ will go to council for direction. Recommendations will center in on what needs to be done at the airport to make the aerodrome more useful and how to attract fly-ins and businesses to this area.
