Both candidates for the position of Mayor of Oliver were asked to submit an article on themselves and a picture.

Both Candidates have complied and we shall present these today.  Both submissions are different in style and content.

Hopefully next Monday and Tuesday we will have all the councillor candidates presented in a similar fashion ( might take a longer period to do 8 candidates properly ). A notification shall be given to all councillor nominees Wednesday about deadlines but take this story as instruction and get that one page and photo to ODN pronto.

School District Nominees submissions will go ahead as received – and ODN shall publish bio information on the regional district race when material is submitted.

Next Tuesday October 25 – an all candidates meeting for all municipal people will be held at the Legion Hall. School Board nominees are NOT included.

ODN will make an effort to find a co-sponsor for a meeting/venue for such a meeting. More on that later.
