We had a great day with Minister Abbott.  We began touring Osoyoos Secondary School, toured SOSS, heard a presentation from the SOSS leadership (Link Crew) students and toured Tuc-El-Nuit Elementary School.

The Board had an opportunity to meet with Minister Abbott during lunch and they highlighted initiatives, successes, and unique factors across the district in the various communities.

We ended the day in the TEN library with an informal opportunity for staff and PAC to meet Minister Abbott.  Our day started at 9:00 a.m. and ended a 4:30.

The minister left with a good sense of strong practice in this district and a visual picture as well as information about SOSS, including what school is now like for students and staff.
