Tamela Edwards has served as a Trustee (School District #53) for Oliver in the last 3 years and will run again for re-election.

Edwards says the learning curve in the last three years has been steep and she hopes to build on the experience gained. She and the entire board have been challenged with many situations including budget downsizing, the possibility of  closures and the fire at SOSS.

Edwards serves on the Oliver Parks and Recreation Society Board as well. Picture below shows Tamela talking to teachers in the “hall way” between classroom portables at SOSS.
