Water councillors confirm status

Andre Miller and Rick Machial have been special water councillors on Oliver Town Council for 20 years.

Both confirmed last night they will stand again for re-election.

Water councillors join the regular council for all business but vote on budgets and policy matters that concern the Oliver water utility – a 22 mile long system of distributing farm and domestic water.
