$9.467 Million contract is set to be awarded at the Regional Board this week to Greyback Construction of Penticton for the new Okanagan Falls Wastewater Treatment Plant. The site south of the “falls” is pictured above. 2/3 of the funding will come from senior levels of government with financing assistance from the Okanagan Basin Water Board. The highest of 5 tenders received amounted to $10.5 million dollars. The successful tender being recommended by the engineering firm AECOM.
