Today is the annual Terry Fox run for SOSS, happening in A block, it’s the usual route, except people will be ending where the new parking lot is. Donations are greatly appreciated. Thursday was a bake sale fundraiser for Grade 7 student Hunter Miller who was diagnosed with cancer, many people bought cookies and cupcakes and the sale was a success.

Today is also the senior field hockey girls games, playing at 11:15,1:45, and 4:15  and Saturday at 9 and 2, everyone is welcomed to attend and cheer them on!

The girls are hosting the Senior Fall Festival Friday Sept 30th and Saturday Oct 1st and both the “Green” and “White” team will be playing at the school fields. 8 teams will be travelling to participate in this tournament. Come on out and support these girls on their home fields. Games will be running from 11 to 5 on Friday and 9 to 2 on Saturday. We hope to see you there!
