A single vehicle accident at Vaseaux Lake along Highway 97 has claimed the life of an Okanagan Falls woman.  RCMP South Okanagan Traffic Services reports the 44 year’s 1995 Pontiac Grand Am drove into the lake about 2:30 Thursday afternoon.  Attempts by citizens and emergency personnel to save the woman were not successful as the car had submerged.  An RCMP dive team attended the scene later to retrieve the vehicle and the body of the lone occupant.
