I asked a few more questions today – the other day I thought it was just a water line. Expect delays of up to 20 minutes approx 16km east of Oliver on McKinney Road. Baldy Creek crosses under the road near the old Carleton MacNaughton cabin. A crew is working to replace the old culverts, without disrupting the fish. A bypass has been put in, and workers report the safe passage of a significant number of Rainbow Trout. Single lane traffic only, and quite the dip in the road during construction.
