This is indeed an important issue on the minds of many. Lynda Minnabarriet, Secretary-Treasurer of SD #53 – says that answers to questions about insurance are being pursued but it will take time to find the definitive answers.
Was the Venables auditorium insured?, was the worksite insured?, will the Ministry fund a restoration project after 20 million dollars has just been spent?
“What does the community want?” is the question issued by Mayor Hampson – a new design for an auditorium or a memorial based on the original drawings.
