Yesterday the Ladies Section of Nk’Mip Canyon Desert Golf invited the men to join them in a Golf Fore the Cure Event. 24 ladies and 24 men played a waltz format with the eventual winners being Bob Kozuback, Ken McLean, Marlene Liske and Charlotte Burbeck. The real winners are those suffering with Breast Cancer as the tournament raised over $2000.00 for cancer research.

Lisa Hopper of Investor’s Group in Penticton presented Ted Vanderweerd with his prize of a pink backpack with a pink waterbottle. Frank Whiteman was the winner of the Suburu Safest Drive and took home a pink Tool Kit. Corona sponsored a Babes at the Beach contest which was won by the team with the most balls landing in the sand traps.
