Louise Beaudet lost her cat, a spayed female, August 11th and then did an incredible amount of work in spreading the word about her loss. Beaudet papered the town with posters, got blog attention and even took out a colourful ad in the local newspaper.

Tigger, her black and orange cat with long white hair on neck and belly was found deceased Wednesday in a nearby building – close to home. The cat had been hunting mice, fell, had a bad accident and was not found for almost two weeks.

Louise, the owner is devasted by the loss and the knowledge that her cat was so close in a barn on her rented property.

Beaudet says “She had an accident in the barn and, probably chasing a mouse from the newly delivered hay, fell from the top of the stack between the hay and the wall.  I am devastated as she was my best friend.  She was buried last night.  I will miss her very much.”
