New Democrats have nominated Marji Basso, a teacher and Oliver town councillor as the party’s candidate in Boundary Similkameen for a possible fall provincial election.
“Marji will be a strong voice for voters in Boundary Similkameen” said B.C. NDP leader Adrian Dix. “Marji understands the challenges families in the Kootenays and across B.C. are facing and will stand up for them everyday.” Marji has involved herself in many community issues during her years in Oliver and will no doubt work hard on the issues affecting the Boundary Similkameen and Okanagan including
