Details are sketchy but two people are believed to have been in a green van proceeding southbound in the 35100 block of Inkameep Rd. The van veered and hit a tree but all inside got out with minor injuries before the van caught fire. Oliver Fire Department had to set up a portable tank and bring in the water to fight the fire. There was some fear of a grass/forest fire being a result but the crews put all flames down.  There was some damage to nearby trees and grassland. RCMP were on the scene investigating. An ambulance had been called by one local resident in the area.
