Great Valley Radio Penticton has been sold to Newcap Radio – subject to CRTC approval.

It is expected that no changes will be made to local programming for some time. The purchase price for CIGV and a second FM station in Kelowna is reported to be 7 million dollars.

CIGV Radio was started by the late Ralph Robinson. Currently his two sons, James and Scott run the Penticton country station.
