Hi. How is everything going?

My pageant  for BC is coming up very soon (August 12 and 13) and I was wondering if you could possibly do up a post on Oliver Daily News about it coming up soon and to remind our community to keep up the voting at:

Also I will have an open can set up at pageant for people to donate towards my run, if anyone that won’t be able to attend the pageant in Merritt, would like to donate it would be greatly appreciated! Again, just a reminder that all proceeds do go towards scholarships and bursaries :)

Simmi Brar
Simmi Brar is an 18 year old teen, who has grown up in the Wine Capital of Canada; Oliver BC. She has recently graduated from secondary school and is now ready to say “Hello” to the real world. Simmi will be attending Douglas College and then will be transferring to SFU to pursue her career in becoming an Elementary School Teacher. Her motivation for this career choice comes from her keen interest in the development of children and her joy in working with kids.

Besides Simmi’s busy life with school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and volunteering around her little community which she calls home. She is also very passionate about her culture and enjoys Bhangra Dance. She would like to leave the audience with a quote by Oprah Winfrey; “Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having move. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough”
