Hydro crews will take the rest of the day and tomorrow (possibly) to stabilize a pole before replacing it after an accident south of Oliver Saturday.

ODN came across the splintered pole while racing to an advertised but non-existent yard sale at Rd. 16. The highway was busy with hydro, a town water crew, RCMP and Sabyan Towing pulling off the farm truck that had veered to hit the pole near Road 11.

It is not known if there were injuries in the accident.
