Arts Jam! Monday
July 25 9:30 a.m. Quail’s Nest Arts Centre
Iced teas and fresh fruit await you, as well as summer news. The Board has some exciting news about upcoming capital projects recently approved. Hint: Get ready for several makeovers at the Quail’s Nest! It’s been a busy upbeat summer with lots happening: awards, programmes, workshops, planning for fall …
Come find out for yourself!
Need to work out some frustration? Come wield a crowbar! One makeover is happening this summer: the installation of new cabinets, island, stove and dishwasher in the Quail’s Nest lunchroom and kitchen. We need a few strong arms to tear out the existing cabinets and countertop in preparation for the renovation. No experience required.
Kitchen Makeover

Bring a crowbar or claw hammer if you have one, plus your best Sumo wrestler demeanour, and let’s “get ‘er dun”. Aaaarrrrrrrghh!
Thank you to members who turned out for the Spring Cleanup at the Quail’s Nest on June 17 and 18. We accomplished a phenomenal amount of work weeding, mowing, pruning, and removing waste. A second cleanup co-ordinated by member group Oliver Community Garden Society spruced up the site once more in July in time for the Communities in Bloom Judges Tour this past week. Thank you all!
